Wire Wrapping Earrings

Today I attempted my first pair of wire wrapped hoops using Mint Green Swarovski crystals and gold plated brass circle links!  Let me tell you, this is no easy project and I definitely messed up the first earring, but made the second one a lot better.  These obviously aren't for sale, but I do plan on making these types of earrings in the future to be available to customers.  What I love about these, is that they are versatile in that you can wear them with jeans and a blazer, or you can wear them with a dress too!  I also got a new statement ring from the one and only TJ Maxx this past weekend.  Statement rings are something I am trying to add to my own jewelry collection at home, and since I don't make rings yet, I must still buy them!  My goal is to one day be able to make my own metals and learn how to solder , so that I can make bracelets and rings, but that won't be for a while and I must make do with what I have for now.  Here are the new earrings and some pics of my new ring!  Enjoy!

My Experiment!
More will soon be available for sale!

How they look on!  I love them, especially for Summer!

My New Ring!

I'm so obsessed with this ring because it is mint and gold and perfect for this season's mint green trend!  I also love the fact that I have super skinny fingers and this ring has that adjustable hidden band on the inside like Kenneth Jay Lane's rings do, and it actually fits me!  Yay!!  Anyways, my earring inspiration came from this gorgeous ring, and I think I will wear them together one night when I wear all black or white perhaps?!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!  I hope you have a great day!  xo

    1. Thanks Jen! I know you love your mint too! I can't get enough! I'm still searching for mint skinny jeans, but they are hard to find anymore unless I pay for a name brand, which I don't want to do for a trendy item. LOL!

    1. Thanks so much sweetheart! Your comments always make me smile. :) These earrings are actually mine. It was my first time trying to make earrings like these and because I messed them up, I'm keeping them because they aren't perfect. When I make more similar to these, they will be approximately $30.
