New In! The Duma Necklace

I am always inspired by the awesome Statement necklaces that Miroslava Duma wears and after going through so many beads that I don't use, I somehow put together this Statement Necklace!  The end result, I am very pleased with and find the greens and blues look so nice with the coppers and browns!  What do you think?

The Emerald Earrings Inspired by Vintage Chanel

On the Rachel Zoe Project Season 4, Rachel Zoe wore a pair of Vintage Chanel Earrings that I fell completely in love with!!  My husband thinks they are ridiculously ugly, but that is how I know that they are total fashion and are amazing!  :)  Anyways, I had to create a pair that were similar, but for way less.  I made this pair with Swarovski Crystals and they are so light-weight, which is my biggest goal when I make earrings.  I hate when they pull on your earlobes and stretch your hole, so I always try to make mine as light as possible.  I made these a while ago, but didn't post them to this blog yet and wanted to share!

The Emerald Earrings
$65
1 Pair Available!

Made with Swarovski Crystals and Chalk Turquoise, these earrings will be your perfect go-to if you want a statement earring and will be the perfect companion to your LBD!

*Earrings are very long!  Will brush tip of shoulders.

*Contact me through my email if interested in purchasing!

NEON YELLOW

Neon has been so popular this Spring and I really wanted to somehow incorporate this trend into a somewhat edgy and stylish pair of earrings.  I love how gunmetal and dark grays look with neon yellow, so this is what I came up with!

Neo Earrings
$15

1 Pair Available!

These earrings are made with gunmetal beads and neon yellow saucer beads.  Using only a few yellow neon beads ensures this look is not over the top, but just enough!

*  Earrings are approximately 2 and 1/2" long and are medium weight.

New Shiny Tiger Earrings!

Tiger Eye beads give a nice earthy vibe to jewelry that I think is just absolutely gorgeous!  There are pretty swirls and mixtures of dark and light brown colors mixed with very dark grays.  I wanted to dress up the tiger eye beads I have had in my bead storage just waiting to be used one day, by surrounding them with crystal roundels to add some glamour to them.  The teardrop earring shape is one of my favorites too, so I am happy with the overall look!  They are simple, yet look very glamourous and can definitely be dressed up or down depending on the look you are going for!

Shiny Tiger Earrings
$25

Only 1 pair available!

These earrings are made with 6 mm tiger eye beads and crystal roundels.  Ear wires are sterling silver and beading wire is gunmetal color.

*Earrings are approximately 2 and 1/2" long.

*If interested in purchasing, please visit my Shop My Jewelry section above for information on how to purchase!

New Rachel Zoe Inspired Pearl Hoops In!

Those who know me and who know me from the blogging world, have known that I am a huge fan of Rachel Zoe mostly for her Vintage Jewelry Collection in her closet!  One of my favorite things to do, is to browse pictures of some of her awesome jewelry for vintage inspiration, which is my favorite jewelry to make.  This picture of her down below is breathtaking to me because I love her dress and am very drawn to her earrings.  Yesterday, I taught myself a wire wrapping technique so that I could make these earrings available to others because they are so classic, yet have a bit of edge to them since I used gold and gunmetal mixes with cream pearls.

The Pearly Pearls
$30

Only 1 Pair Available!

More can be made to order!

These earrings are made with gold-plated hammered round links and with glass cream pearls wrapped with gunmetal wire for a touch of edge and dimension.  Ear wires are gold-colored ear wires.

*Earrings hang approximately 2 and 1/2"

*If interested in purchasing, please email me through my contact information above!  Thanks!

Wire Wrapping Earrings

Today I attempted my first pair of wire wrapped hoops using Mint Green Swarovski crystals and gold plated brass circle links!  Let me tell you, this is no easy project and I definitely messed up the first earring, but made the second one a lot better.  These obviously aren't for sale, but I do plan on making these types of earrings in the future to be available to customers.  What I love about these, is that they are versatile in that you can wear them with jeans and a blazer, or you can wear them with a dress too!  I also got a new statement ring from the one and only TJ Maxx this past weekend.  Statement rings are something I am trying to add to my own jewelry collection at home, and since I don't make rings yet, I must still buy them!  My goal is to one day be able to make my own metals and learn how to solder , so that I can make bracelets and rings, but that won't be for a while and I must make do with what I have for now.  Here are the new earrings and some pics of my new ring!  Enjoy!

My Experiment!
More will soon be available for sale!

How they look on!  I love them, especially for Summer!

My New Ring!

I'm so obsessed with this ring because it is mint and gold and perfect for this season's mint green trend!  I also love the fact that I have super skinny fingers and this ring has that adjustable hidden band on the inside like Kenneth Jay Lane's rings do, and it actually fits me!  Yay!!  Anyways, my earring inspiration came from this gorgeous ring, and I think I will wear them together one night when I wear all black or white perhaps?!

David Webb Inspiration

One of my favorite Jewelry Designers who inspires me beyond belief, is David Webb.  His work is exquisite!  The craftsmanship is amazing and I can only one day wish to have a workshop where I can actually learn how to work with metal and create my own shapes myself!  Here are some beautiful inspirational photos of some of his work!  Enjoy!

Dolce and Gabbana Inspired Earrings

With a great love for Dolce and Gabbana's Spring 2012 collection, I decided to make a pair of Dolce and Gabbana inspired earrings to go with The Touch of Mint Necklace I made this week seen (HERE)!  I had these black hoop earrings for a while, but never wore them because I have dark hair and they just blend in with my hair too much.  So, I decided to add some color to them and use my inspiration photo I had saved on my computer of Dolce and Gabbana's earrings from their Spring 2012's Collections.  I love the way they turned out and I am tempted to keep them for myself they are so cute!

Touch of Mint Earrings
$20

Only 1 Pair Available!

Earrings are made with gold-colored wire, antique brass jump rings, and chalk turquoise beads in blue and mint green.

*Earrings are approximately 3" in length and are still light-weight so they won't weigh down on your ears much.

These earrings are not by any means that similar, but I love how they took a simple hoop and attached the garlic and pepper charms on the bottom!  I like how they swing and move when walking, which is what I was trying to achieve when I created my own version.  What do you think of Dolce and Gabbana's Spring 2012 collection?  What I love most, is the accessories like the shoes and handbags and their use of woven materials that are so light and perfect for the Summer time!  Here are some inspiration pictures that are my favorite from their collection.

New Necklace Available!

There is something so chic and classy about wearing pearls, but wearing a strand of pearls can be a bit boring.  I love mixing pearls with metals and other gemstones for a modern, slightly edgy look in my own designs.  Here is a necklace I recently made that uses just two pearls to add a touch of glamour to an edgier style necklace.  I love to wear this style necklace with a scoop neckline, and I love blazers or jackets in tweed "Chanel style" as well with these necklaces!

The Blazer Necklace
$30

Only 1 Available!

This Necklace is made with beautiful stones (don't know the name of them because I had them for so long and threw tag away), but they are so pretty!  They have a mix of burnt orange, light peach, cream, and brown.  Gold plated heishi beads were used as spacers and I used cream glass pearls to soften it up a bit.  Chain is gold-colored chain as well as the clasp.

* Length of necklace is approximately 16" with a 2" extender chain

Wear it with:
